From a series of works titled Domestic Entropy (2021/22) seeks to portray the act of remembering as a destructive act that changes our perceptions of our past.

The images from this series appear to be out-of-focus photographs, but they are, in fact, digital drawings. I compose my drawings using a digital process that begins as a solid background, adding colour dots that bleed into the background. As I add more dots, the colours push against each other to form an image. The process references the reconstructive process of memory-building. Because the colours bleed into one another, creating sharp edges is impossible. Despite being entirely digital, it is a manual process, requiring multiple trials and errors that slowly reconstruct images as the colours bleed into each other. The process is akin to using watercolours on a very wet piece of paper that never dries.
