Rubber stamp with wooden handle made of red oak.
Available with or without "Brick Red" inkpad.

This rubber stamp is designed by master printmaker Jerry Evans. The topographic view of migrating qalipu (caribou) has come to exemplify Jerry Evans’s signature printmaking style. The artist says, "The Qalipu, or Caribou, have long been central to the survival and cultural practices of the Mi'kmaq people, who once roamed all of Mi’kma’ki. Every part of the caribou was used—its meat provided sustenance, while its hide was crafted into clothing, tools, and even shelters. The bones and antlers were fashioned into tools, and the hide was used to build skin canoes, embodying the resourcefulness and deep connection to the land that defined the Mi'kmaq way of life." Thank you to our friends at Eurekatec for their collaboration for this special stamp, available with or without an ink pad.
